Dallas Winter Wedding at The Emerson
Funny story, Jordyn used to do my spray tans. Yep, she’s seen me naked before I even knew her last name. But as soon as I met her I knew I liked her. She is spunky and hilarious and loves Harry Potter as much as I do. We are Sag. sisters, her dogs are her babies and Trevor is her person. This is what I knew about her.
I was thrilled when she asked me to shoot their wedding and she got married on her own birthday (the day after mine) which happens to be their dating anniversary, beginning when they were in high school. It just made sense.
It was the most gorgeous winter day south of Dallas, Texas at The Emerson venue. There is a property full of trees that had recently dropped the fall colors of my dreams.
Jordyn’s dress had beading on it that resembled snow and Trevor wore a green velvet tux. Their best friend officiated the ceremony and they quoted “The Office” in their vows to each other. As they walked back down the aisle, “Velvet Elvis” by Kacey Musgraves played. It was perfectly them.
The guest list was intimate but they didn’t cut any corners on the party.
Trevor + Jordyn, I adore you both.
