Whimsical Wedding at Barr Mansion

I loved this whimsical wedding at Barr Mansion! The bride wanted to have a major focus on florals and design and the team delivered. Instead of a traditional photo booth, the couple dreamed up this incredible corner in the reception space for people to take photos as well as four pink "trees" framing the dance floor. It was truly a sight to see!

Barr Mansion Transformation

Barr Mansion was transformed into a magical place where pink trees thrive (and the fairies live, probably). The bride Jocelyn is a very creative person having worked in commercial production for many years. She had a clear vision of a romantic dreamscape in the reception space and Flora Fetish provided all hands on deck to bring her imagination to life. Flora Fetish described it as whimsical, contemporary, and enchanting which is absolutely spot on.

A few moments I loved:

- Jocelyn's parents are the sweetest and have been married forever. Her dad stepped into the hallway (unbeknownst that his wife was waiting) and had the best reaction to seeing her all dolled up.

- The bride is such a character. In order to hide from her guests prior to the ceremony, there's a photo of Jocelyn being transported around the main house under a tent.

- One unique detail was that Michael met her at the start of the aisle in order to walk to the altar together.

- Michael + Jocelyn wanted to be the first to view the reception space and had a reveal moment during cocktail hour.

- Plush Party Band was AWESOME and kept the party raging all night.
