Individual Mentorship for Photographers
The world has enough photographers.
At least, it has enough of the typical photographer. Photographers who work late, undercharge, feel uninspired, and are on the fast track to burnout filling their portfolio with the same beautiful clients doing the same generic poses.
AS ARTISTS, WE DESERVE BETTER.
I’ve spent the past 7 years building a business that gives me space to foster my creativity, which isn’t just about photography, but about creating art that feels aligned. I work less, charge more, and am producing my best work session after session.
Wanna do it, too? I’ll teach you everything I know
“Having someone who speaks truth, based on years of experience, is exactly what I needed.”
“Lauren is unapologetically herself, invested in your success and coaches you through whatever might be a roadblock in your growth. [She’s] helped me with more than just photo/biz skills”

The Learning Process
First things first, we need to connect, because I only want to work together if I am one-thousand-percent confident that I can help. You can start that process by applying to learn from me here. If we decide to move forward, you’ll get a contract and invoice to officially begin our mentorship.
I want you to squeeze as much value from our coaching sessions as you can, so I’ll ask you to share what’s on your mind in an onboarding questionnaire in advance of our calls. Pro tip: The more open-hearted you’re willing to be, the more I can help.

meet your mentor
I can’t wait to show you everything I know.
I’m a big fan of formal education (hello, art history and psychology degree), but when it comes to photography and entrepreneurship, I’ve learned more through field work, spiritual self-exploration, and sheer grit than a degree in photography could have ever taught me. And I can tell you first-hand that I’ve never learned better or grown faster than I did when I had a mentor. That precious one-on-one time with a photographer I admired pulled my best work out of me, and now I’m ready to be that person for you.
Answers to Your Questions

I like to make sure each mentorship experience is tailored to you and your needs; a brand new photographer is going to need different help than someone with years of experience. Let’s work together to create a coaching engagement that will cover all the bases that are important to you.

The best way to find out my schedule is to ask. I only work with one mentee at a time to make sure you get plenty of my time and attention.

While I don’t offer payment plans for the One Hour Mentorship, I’m happy to offer a two-payment option for my One Month Mentorship program. Just let me know you’d like a payment plan when you inquire.

Yes! I always love working with other Austin or Texas photographers because we can meet up in person and do some camera work, but virtual meetings can be just as juicy. Please contact me and let’s discuss.
