The Bloom Bar x The Ice Plant Bldg

Last year, I teamed up with Kayli from The Bloom Bar for some colorful magic at The Ice Plant Bldg. She went wild with the design. Imagine your wedding day could look like this: Vibrant colors. Funky florals. Modern details.

The Ice Plant Bldg

The Ice Plant Bldg is unique because it’s so much more than a generic ballroom and standard decor. It’s a historic building that’s been transformed into something special, located in between Austin and Houston in the small town of La Grange, Texas. The space can host up to 150 people and is truly a blank canvas for your ceremony and reception with endless possibilities. It feels vintage, yet modern and industrial with the concrete walls, farm tables and metal chairs. Plus there is some great dramatic lighting (see below) that is fun to play with.

Kayli has been in the floral business for 23 years and loves color as much as I do! The Bloom Bar believes that floral is fun and should be a reflection of the real you. Her colorful and funky design was a dream in this one-of-a-kind-venue. I often see couples going for a neutral palette to match the space but The Ice Plant Bldg is a blank slate with so much potential. In my opinion, more color can (and should) be used!

Ready to throw out the rulebook and create a day you’ll never want to forget? Count me in. I love everything wild and unconventional - the bursts of color, funky florals, and unique moments that make your day yours. If this sounds like the type of wedding you’re planning, reach out!
